Yankee Killer Coming to Indy

Just checking out ESPN and found out tonight that Curt Shilling is going to be starting his season off with a minor league game start with Pawtucket, who just happen to be playing their season opener against my local AAA team - the Indianapolis Indians.

Interesting. Since I have loved baseball all my life, I think it would be cool to go down to Victory Field (Home of the AAA Indy Indians)and see a future HOF'er go a few innings. Its a 2:00 game here, and not sure if I want to use up vacation time or not.......all depends on if my buddy wants to go with me, cause I know the wife will be bored.

On one hand I think it would be pretty cool see him b/c as I said he is a future HOF'er. I am sure I will try to get a pic and an autograph as the dugouts are easy to access players. Unless they want to be jerks and ignore you which some do --like Drew Henson, yeah and where are you now big shot? Out of baseball and riding the bench as Jerry Jones poster boy for failures and "possible" future QB's! I got news for ya pal....as long as Big Tuna is coach I think their will be more of a possiblity of a pig flying, than him letting you behind center in a game that counts!

Anyway...it is real easy to access players there. I have gone to Victory Field a few times to catch them playing the Columbus Clippers a few times one time when they were playing the Columbus Clippers, I got several Clippers to sign a ball for me like Ted Lilly (since traded and starting for the Blue Jays, courtesy of the Roger Clemems trade) and a few others......

BUT I have mixed feelings about being nice to the guy that helped kick the crap out of my beloved team last year in the ALCS. Especially with the non stop talk about how the Yanks got smoked in 3 straight, blah blah fucking blah. New season, and hopefully another 80+ years until they get another one from us!!!! Besides.......and mark me down for this: THE YANKESS WILL WHIP THE CRAP OUT OF EVERYONE THIS SEASON. I will get into this more in a later post....

Back to my whole story here....I do have mixed feelings but since he is bound for the HOF, it would be cool to get a celeb pic and that will prevail.
