Some People......

You know....... some ppl are just really weak.....

In my last post,
I talked about my NCAA pool that I started, right? Well, from the day that I
proposed the terms and conditions to my "Elite 8" fellow coaches that I got to
go in to this pool with me everyone agreed. Even after the time we drafted (by
pulling strips of paper from my hat in supervised and predetermined order)
anyone who didnt agree, should be in right?


Now Granted......I had a sweet fucking draw. Pure dumb fucking luck, s'all I can tell ya, b/c it NEVER happens. I have
done this with other ppl over the past three years and I dont think I made it past the 2nd round with more than 3 teams IF that... But I had to laugh,
after our draft, one dude came up to me and actually tried to say that he thought we should redo and change it so that we first had a "random" draw with
just number one picks first, THEN have another draft with the remaining teams......WTF??? That would be like placing a Superbowl bet in Vegas,
then the day before the game, your starting QB goes down and you wanting your $$ back! Just didnt think it was cool....if it were me with a shitty set of teams
that I picked, like I have had happen in the past... you just eat your shit sandwich and chaulk up the lost cash for what it is...a gamble....

To top off my good fortune in this draft, I supplemented by doing a gameday( before the first game's tip off, of course..) trade: I had Kansas & LSU,
and gave my trade partner his choice of giving me Arizona or Gonzaga and told
him I would take a slightly lower pick, his choice; Mississippi St. (Im sure
they arent going to get past Duke anyway, but you never know --- See
Connecicut...)So far, I am looking more brilliant than any Indiana Pro Sports
team GM has done with a trade in YEARS!!!!

Not saying Im going to win
this thing...I still have my doubts...you never know.....we'll see as the
tourney starts back up on Thursday...

Thats another thing, and I will leave this as an open question to end this rambling story of nonsense....Why
doesnt the Tourney need a 4 day rest anyway? (they are not a bunch of
pussies...one or two at the most days to travel I would think would be
sufficient)
