WHEW! Did I dodge a couple of bullets!!
Because I am not seriously interested/involved with college basketball, I started a different kind of NCAA pool at the office. Instead of brackets, I got 8 people to put in 20.00 a piece, and we randomly drew 8 teams a piece (8X8 =64) and simply put, you ride with those 8 teams throughout the tourney until someone is left with the winning team. 140.00 to the winner and 20.00 to the runner up (this way, that person at least breaks even for being in the final game).
Originally, these were my teams (and yeah, I got lucky and had some kick @$$ picks:
Duke
Kentucky
Kansas
Florida
Wisconsin
LSU
UCLA
Montana
I say I dodge a bullet b/c I wound up trading Kansas (i dont know...I just had a bad feeling about holding on to them) for Arizona and LSU for Mississippi St. ((you just KNOW that my buddy I traded with is kicking himself in the @$$ right about now!!
Who knew Kansas would get beat?! Like I said, I just had a bad feeling.......but I am not complaining.....I still have 6 teams in......and I could use the extra 140.00 ((hopefully --fingers crossed))
